This is the Sjow Control Warrior Deck Jan 17. It’s similar to some of the other Control Warrior lists and this is where the META has settled on the best cards for this archetype.
The Dirty Rat + Brawl combo is pretty awesome, but don’t be surprised if it costs you the occasional game when you pull out something crazy.
If you’re looking for a current Control Warrior list try this VLPS Top 100 Legend Control Warrior Dec 16.
This is the Trump N’Zoth Control Warrior Dec 16. Alley Armorsmith and Don Han’Cho are in the list from the latest expansion – Mean Streets of Gadgetzan.
Still a solid deck in the META and this list generates a lot of armor giving you the chance to force a win by fatigue if you have to.
If you want a strong N’Zoth Control Warrior list this is the Fibonacci Gadgetzan Legend N’Zoth Control Warrior list he played to legend this season. The only new card from Mean Streets of Gadgetzan is Alley Armorsmith, but there has been quite a few card changes from last month’s lists to accommodate the META.
If you want a N’Zoth Control Warrior list to utilize some of the new cards from Gadgetzan try this Fibonacci Gadgetzan N’Zoth Warrior w Stolen Goods, I Know a Guy, and Alley Armorsmith from the new set.
This is the Rosty Rank 1 Legend Control Warrior w Yogg Oct 16 he was playing on stream. It’s no surprise to see a Warrior deck hitting the highest rank, but this list is a little different. The Harrison Jones tech is needed right now to deal with all the Shamans and their Spirit Claws.
Baron Geddon is also a great anti-shaman tech. The 2 damage clears all those 2-health totems. And, let’s be honest, the Yogg Nerf wasn’t exactly the kind of nerf everyone was hoping for. Yogg is still considered a form of removal if the board gets out of control. The more enemy minions on the board the higher chance you will get some value from this card.
This is the latest Fibonacci N’Zoth Control Warrior Season 30 Sept. Control Warrior is in a strong position right now with all the midrange Shamans and aggro lists that can’t keep up with Tank Up.
Fibonacci has included Alexstraza in this list as an extra win condition. If you drop your opponent to 15 health you have a lot of ways to do that damage, especially after dropping N’Zoth.
Your deathrattle minions are:
- Infested Tauren
- Cairne Bloodhoof
- Sylvanas Windrunner
It’s not the easiest deck to play, there are some tactics depending on your opponent but give it a try and you’ll see what I mean.
Remember the old fatigue Warrior with Healbot pre-standard format? Well, this Neviilz Control Fatigue Warrior w Violet Illusionist Fools Bane is the closest thing to a fatigue Warrior in the Karazhan META.
There are three cards from the latest Karazhan expansion:
Fool’s Bane – This is used to clear up several small minions against aggro decks. Great value card and can give potential swing turns.
Violet Illusionist – Health is important in fatigue matchups. This card allows you to use weapons without taking damage. Used in combination with Fool’s Bane or Gorehowl it’s a good value card.
Ironforge Portal – Another good inclusion in a fatigue match. More armor and a random minion to challenge the board.
This is the Rosty Top 10 Legend Karazhan Control Warrior Deck Sep 16 he was playing on stream and trying to hit rank one with.
Control Warrior is strong in the current META, its main weakness is against aggressive Hunter lists. But apart from that they can hang with all the other classes.
The control mirror is one of the most annoying and time-consuming match ups in Hearthstone. Playing against this isn’t much fun either as you feel yourself slowly losing as every turn passes. Hopefully this list doesn’t become too popular. 🙂
This is the Cipher Karazhan Control Warrior w Ironforge Portal deck he was playing on stream and laddering up with some long win streaks. Control Warrior isn’t for everyone, the games are long, mistakes can ruin everything, and the mirror matches are resident sleepers, but they are strong decks vs almost all matchups.
The Ironforge Portal is a much better card than most people anticipated. Fatigue is one of the problems Control Warriors face, having a random minion and some armor without drawing a card like Shield Block does is another tool in the deck.
This is one of the strongest Control Warrior lists for Season 30, and with no more new cards for a few months the lists are going to look similar to this for a while.
