This is the Best Druid Deck January 2017 Season 34. Jade Druid is favorable vs Renolock which means it will have a place in the META for the foreseeable future. It struggles against aggro though unless you draw well and can drop a Jade Golem every turn and pick up you removal.
A mistake a lot of people make with this deck is being greedy – don’t. Drop your strongest minions on curve and don’t wait for combos, once you’re behind it’s really difficult to make up ground with this deck.
This Sempok Aggro Beast Druid Legendary Deck Nov 16 is an interesting deck. Not only is it a different Beast Druid deck to the previous lists I’ve seen, he was able to race to legend in a few days with it.
It’s a very aggressive list so look to get a fast start and curve out from there. Obviously, innervating out something ahead of curve is always a good opportunity to get tempo on your side.
If you’re looking for a post-karazhan Astral Communion Druid deck this is a fun list. I played it a lot at the end of the last season with mixed results, but it was a lot of fun. Astral Communion decks have never been consistent enough to be competitive, but it’s a great way to have some crazy fun, and you’ll win a few games.
There are loads of big legendaries you can swap in and out, and Prince Malchezaar is a bit of a troll really.
This is the Xixo Rank 1 Legend Malygos Druid Deck Oct 16 he used to hit top spot on EU.
The interesting tech changes over the other Malygos Druid lists are Harrison Jones and Baron Geddon. These are anti-Shaman cards and helps swing this matchup much more into the Druids favor.
It’s a Shaman META, time to start teching to beat down those Shamans! This list also performs well in the Malygos Druid Mirror match too with Ragnaros and double Feral Rage for armor gain.
This is the Savjz Dragon Druid Legend Deck Season 31 Oct 16 he was playing at high legend. I’ve seen a few dragon Druid builds and they always seem to be missing something to be really competitive.
This list includes Netherspite Historian and Book Wyrm from the last adventure, One Night in Karazhan. I like the defensive Chillmaw and potential for Brann Bronzebeard combo’s in this deck.
It was performing well for Savjz at high legend so it’s a strong deck if you want to give it a try and ladder up.
This is an interesting deck I was watching Hotform play inside the top 10 legend on NA this week. It’s a Y’Shaarj, Curator Druid Deck.
Control decks are doing really well since the nerfs on a few of the aggro cards. There isn’t so much threat in the first few turns and once you stabilize if you’re playing control you’re going to pull away from those annoying aggro decks.
There is loads of synergy and strong combinations in this deck. A Fandral, Ragnaros or Y’Shaarj from Banes is pretty insane. Arcane Giants for 0 mana, Stampeding Kodo’s, it’s a fun deck!
I’ve played a few games with it and it seems to do well vs Shamans, but it pretty horrible vs Hunter’s which seem to be popular right now. See how you get on.
Looking for a Dragon Druid deck to counter the current META, try this Dog Dragon Druid Deck Sep 16 list.
A few interesting cards in this list. It’s quite defensive with Chillmaw and Chromaggus, and of course what would a druid list be without Yogg in there!
This is the Kolento Token Yogg Druid w Medivh Moonglade Portal Deck he was playing on stream to hit legend this season.
Medivh, the Guardian, and Moonglade Portal are two of the cards from the last Karazhan wing. They are a good fit in Druid, and if you’ve ramped to hit these cards early you’re going to have tempo on your side.
The 2 x Ancient of Wars are pretty important right now as the ladder is being terrorized by aggro Shamans. In a more control heavy META you can take them out and put a second Moonglade Portal and Arcane Giant in.
This list has been getting a bit of attention on ladder. This is the Muzzy Dragon Druid Deck w Book Wyrm list that was one of the first Dragon Druid builds after the last wing of Karazan was released. Book Wyrm is a decent card, and works well in this list. Being able to innervate it out makes it a lot more playable as it destroys minions with 3 or less attack, so the longer the game goes the less value it has.
I’ve only had a chance to play a few games wth this deck, it seems really strong vs aggro which is always good at the beginning and end of the season. There are loads of other Dragon cards you can include and switch around too if you want to experiment with the list.
This is the Thijs Midrange Beast Druid w Deathwing he was playing on stream. It has more top-end than most of the other lists and uses the battlecry of The Curator to pull some more cards from your deck.
I think the midrange builds are a lot stronger than the more aggressive decks most people came out with when the new card Menagerie Warden was released.
This deck plays out a lot like a standard token druid list with the added threats of Deathwing, and Menagerie Warden copying minions like a Stranglethorn Tiger or Druid of the Claw.
Mulligan Guide for Midrange Beast Druid
As a Druid ramp is always good so never turn away Wild Growth or Innervate. But ideally you want to curve out well too, so Enchanted Raven on turn one is ideal, and with no real 3 drop minion you want to ramp there into Violet Teacher + Spells.
