One of the more interesting decks to appear over the Christmas holidays was this Rosty Legend Murloc Druid Deck Dec 16.
Rosty went 35-15 at legend with the deck climbing to around 220 rank. The deck uses both Murlocs and Beasts and some pretty sweet buff cards that if you can synergize give you some decent tempo.
With all the new cards released in the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan expansion and the nerf just before, I feel like Yogg is a little too forgotten.
It’s still a crazy card that can win you any game from any position (or lose you any game haha).
Seeing Stancifka play this list at high legend is a reminder that Yogg still has a place in the META. I’ve been playing a lot of Tempo Mage with Yogg and it feels like Yogg has been buffed to be honest.
Look at it this way – there are now a load of new spells for Yogg to randomly cast, more good ones than new board clears – so that’s a buff.
Let the fun begin, Jade Golem Druid lacks a little consistancy, and it’s really difficult to pull from behind. Let the Yogg roll decide if you deserve a second chance at winning. 🙂
This is the Strifecro Jade Druid w Bloodmage Deck was playing in the Esports Superstars tournament streamed on the elcgaming Twitch channel.
I thought it was interesting that he chose to cut an Anicent of War and add Bloodmage Thalnos. It turned out working really well for him.
It makes sense if you think about it. A stronger early game, with card draw spell damage means a stronger mid and late game position and more chance to start growing those Jade Golems.
This tech change will work well on ladder too, give it a go.
There are loads of decks coming together with the Aviana and Kun the Forgotten King combo. Aviana means you can play Kun for 1 mana, then refresh all your mana and start playing all your other minions for 1 mana.
If you get to this point you’ve probably won, this is an insane combo. Fun to play, give it a go!
This is the deck I was watching Thijs climb from around rank 5 to legend with. It’s a Jade Golem Druid deck and uses Gadgetzan Auctioneer to cycle through the deck and gain an advantage on board by dropping bigger, and bigger Jade Golems.
The Jade Behemoth‘s and Feral Rages were enough to beat most Pirate Warriors and aggro decks. Populating more Jade Idols makes this such a strong control deck that you will have more late-game value than most control decks.
