One of the more interesting decks to appear over the Christmas holidays was this Rosty Legend Murloc Druid Deck Dec 16.
Rosty went 35-15 at legend with the deck climbing to around 220 rank. The deck uses both Murlocs and Beasts and some pretty sweet buff cards that if you can synergize give you some decent tempo.
Zoobot, The Curator, and of course Finja, the Flying Star are in the deck. If you have these cards you gotta try out the deck, it’s really fun and pretty strong vs the Pirate META.
It’s a good time to dust off the Tempo Warrior deck lists with the META still being aggro-lead. Tempo Warrior was really popular a few months ago due to its ability to survive the early turns vs aggro and stabilize late game with armor gain and huge late game minions like Ysera, Ragnaros, and Varian Wrynn.
Rosty was playing this list at high legend and it’s a good time to play it to counter all those pirate decks.
This is the Rosty Rank 1 Legend Control Warrior w Yogg Oct 16 he was playing on stream. It’s no surprise to see a Warrior deck hitting the highest rank, but this list is a little different. The Harrison Jones tech is needed right now to deal with all the Shamans and their Spirit Claws.
Baron Geddon is also a great anti-shaman tech. The 2 damage clears all those 2-health totems. And, let’s be honest, the Yogg Nerf wasn’t exactly the kind of nerf everyone was hoping for. Yogg is still considered a form of removal if the board gets out of control. The more enemy minions on the board the higher chance you will get some value from this card.
This is the Rosty Rank 1 Legend Totemic Witchdoctor Shaman Deck he used to reach rank 1 early in the October Season. It’s a smart neck choice right now and the Swamp Ooze tech really helps to swing mirror matches.
It’s unfavored vs most Warrior builds which sucks right now as there are a lot of Warriors. But you can sneak a win with a well-placed Ooze and a little luck. It’s almost impossible to recover from two early Brawls though. So don’t be too hard on yourself if this happens.
This is the Rosty Top 10 Legend Karazhan Control Warrior Deck Sep 16 he was playing on stream and trying to hit rank one with.
Control Warrior is strong in the current META, its main weakness is against aggressive Hunter lists. But apart from that they can hang with all the other classes.
The control mirror is one of the most annoying and time-consuming match ups in Hearthstone. Playing against this isn’t much fun either as you feel yourself slowly losing as every turn passes. Hopefully this list doesn’t become too popular. 🙂
This is the Rosty Beast Druid Deck NA Summer Prelims he used. A lot of people have been asking what his list was and I tracked it down to share here. Beast Druid lists are going to change when the new card Menagerie Warden comes out tonight.
I think Beast Druid decks will be more midrange than this kind of aggressive list when the new card is out, but this was a fun deck to watch Rosty play in the Prelims.
Mulligan Guide for Beast Druid
The perfect start is to curve out with beasts. So Enchanted Raven, into either Huge Toad or Darnassus Aspirant for some ramp depending on what your opponent is doing. Mark of Y’Shaarj is worth keeping if you have a 1-2 drop beast too.
