Sjow Rank 1 Legend Discard Warlock Sep Season 30

Sjow Rank 1 Legend Discard Warlock Deck ListThis is the decklist Sjow played to rank 1 legend on the NA server this week. It’s a slightly different discardlock to the Xixo build that hit rank one earlier in the month.

Just play as you would with a Zoolock list but take a little extra care to use the discard synergy. It’s a really easy deck to play and you will climb the ladder quickly in the current META.

VLPS High Legend Secret Hunter Deck September 16

VLPS High Legend Secret Hunter Deck September 16This is the VLPS High Legend Secret Hunter Deck September 16 that has been causing a little of a stir on ladder. It’s proving to be a decent list, a little more refined than the earlier lists and is playable at high legend.

I just knocked out 10 games as I always do with a new deck to get an early feel for it and went 8-2, so I’m happy to carry on and try and push higher with the list.

I don’t like Barnes RNG in decks with too many minions you don’t want. It’s about right in this deck, and if you land a 1/1 Cloacked Huntress you will almost certainly have secrets in your hand to play.

Give it a go and see how you get on. I feel like the META is starting to hit a place where the strongest few decks, Aggro Shaman, Malygos Druid, Dragon Warrior, etc are pushing all the fun decks down. So it’s nice to play something a little different that actually works.

Thjis Moonglade Portal Yogg Token Druid Deck Sep 16

thjis moonglade portal yogg token druid deck sep 16I’ve been looking for a way to fit 2 x Moonglade Portals into my Yogg Druid deck, and this Thjis Moonglade Portal Yogg Token Druid Deck Sep 16 does exactly that, and it’s better than the list I made.

Depending on what cards you run, the Moonglade Portals are in the deck in place of 1 x Nourish, and 1 x Mire Keeper.

There are some pretty decent 6 drops, Emperor Thaurissan, Sylvannas, Cairne, all excellent results. If you get a Corrupted Seer however you’re not so happy. But that’s RNG for you, and you’re still getting 6 points of heal anyway.

Using this to heal big taunts is awesome vs aggro decks. I find myself healing minions more often than my hero to keep the board. Druid is in a good place right now, this deck is really strong and good for laddering up.

Karazhan Aggro Dragon Priest Deck Sep 16

karazhan aggro dragon priest deck sep 16This is the Karazhan Aggro Dragon Priest Deck Sep 16 that I’ve been having the most success with playing Priest.

I like the lower curve and more aggressive build, the lists with Ysera, Deathwing, and all the other late-game cards are too slow for this Shaman META in my opinion.

Curving out with Wyrmrest Agent, Blackwing Technician, Twilight Drake, into Blackwing Corruptor while having the cheap removal spells is one of the strongest curves in the game.

Dragon decks are pretty strong now with Book Wyrm and Netherspite Historian from One Night in Karazhan. Priest is in a much better place, and this deck is pretty solid. Give it a go and see how you get on.

Asmodai Cosplaygrill Rank 1 Legend Tempo Mage Sep 16

asmodai cosplaygrill rank 1 legend tempo mage sep 16The resident Hearthstone Tempo Mage expert has been at it again hitting the top spot, this is the Asmodai Cosplaygrill Rank 1 Legend Tempo Mage Sep 16.

Cosplaygrill hit rank one legend last month with his Tempo Mage list. The best decks are always evolving and changing with the META and this list from Asmodai has a few tweaks that make this list even more effective right now.

The Arcane Explosion is an interesting card, but helps vs all the aggro Shamans on the ladder. The double Tome, Emperor, Archamge, greedy top end means this deck can outvalue a lot of control decks. The Forgotten Torch adds even more burn, and after playing it for 20 or so games I can confirm it’s incredibly strong.

I’m having a tough time vs Druids, but have a positive win ratio vs all other classes.

Kolento Token Yogg Druid w Medivh Moonglade Portal Deck

Kolento Token Yogg Druid w Medivh Moonglade Portal DeckThis is the Kolento Token Yogg Druid w Medivh Moonglade Portal Deck he was playing on stream to hit legend this season.

Medivh, the Guardian, and Moonglade Portal are two of the cards from the last Karazhan wing. They are a good fit in Druid, and if you’ve ramped to hit these cards early you’re going to have tempo on your side.

The 2 x Ancient of Wars are pretty important right now as the ladder is being terrorized by aggro Shamans. In a more control heavy META you can take them out and put a second Moonglade Portal and Arcane Giant in.

Fr0zen PAX One Nation of Gamers Midrange Hunter Deck

Anyone following the Hearthstone tournament scene will know that
Fr0zen PAX One Nation of Gamers Midrange Hunter DeckFr0zen
won the PAX West tournament held on the 2-3 September, 2016.

This tourney was a pretty big deal and most of the best Hearthstone Pro’s were there. So, to win it was pretty damn awesome, and I thought I’d look at the decks he used.

He turned up with 5 of the strongest META decks, and although sometimes tournament decks are sometimes teched to deal with certain classes, his decks are pretty standard strong ladder decks. He used:

Malygos Druid

Dragon Warrior

Aggro Shaman

Miracle Rogue

Midrange Hunter

Midrange Hunter is an easy to play deck with a lot of favorable matchups, I always take Hunter to tournaments because the burn damage and SMOrc’ing potential is going to steal wins against slower decks.

This is the Questing Adventurer Mircle Rogue that is more effective than the standard Miracle Rogue list in my opinion. Barnes is a good inclusion in this deck and there is a number of targets that will give you a tempo boost on turn 4.

This is a pretty standard aggro Shaman list, we have all been terrorized by aggro Shamans for a few seasons now. It’s a great tournament deck and has some matchups that are really favorable, you will tear through Druids with a slow start, Hunters, and do well against Dragon Warriors.

Dragon Warrior is still a really strong deck and the recent new cards from Karazhan only made it stronger. This is always a good choice as a tournament deck, but don’t be surprised if it’s banned in formats that allow one ban. If you curve out well there aren’t many classes that can stop the pain.
