There is loads of cool art for Hearthstone cards. Seeing them up close gives you a better appreciation for the design work that goes into the cards.
Here is a Hearthstone Dr Boom Wallpaper Art that you can use as your desktop background. If you’re a HS player you will know all too well how much Dr Boom ran riot on the ladder. OP card that is now banished to Wild format, but still, he looked like a boss.
Ben Brode is pretty much the spokesperson for Hearthstone game design and decisions made by the team. He’s been getting a lot of tweets from the community about the Priest card Purify since it was revealed earlier this week and made a video to discuss the card.
If you don’t have time or can’t watch the video here is what he says about the card in summary:
Purify will not be available for picking in the arena.
Purify has been designed to be a ‘fun’ card, not a strong competitive card.
He is aware Priest is not as strong a class as most the other classes right now.
Ideally, Priest would have some archetypes that can achieve a 50% win ratio.
Wondering how much will One Night in Karazhan cost when it’s released on the 11th August 2016?
Here is the full pricing table as released by Blizzard.
These are the USD$ prices, but you can work out the approximate costs in Euro’s or British Pounds pretty easily.
It’s a typical price per an adventure. Having the Prologue for Free isn’t normal though and is pretty cool. 2,800 in-game gold for all 4 wings isn’t a lot of gold and most will be able to pay for the expansion this way.
You won’t get the card back if you do that though. You have to pay for the entire adventure in cash within the first week if you want the card back.
There is no pre-ordering as there have been with previous adventures and expansions either. You’ll have to wait until the 11th August.
The price from Blizzard through the game client and iOS is £1 different in the UK.
The One Night in Karazhan adventure will cost you £13.99 from Blizzard. While it costs £14.99 if you buy through in-app purchases on the iPhone.
Here is a screenshot of the new board released with One Night in Karazhan the new adventure available on August 11th.
New boards are always fun and give you a few hidden interactive things to do to interact with the board. Help’s pass a little time when you’re waiting for an opponent who is roping or taking ages to make their turns.
