Malkorok is a Warrior card that was released as part of the Whispers of the Old Gods expansion. It’s a great card and if you’ve used it a lot you have probably won, and lost games because of the RNG of a random weapon.
If you’ve lost it’s because you received Cursed Blade. But, what is the chance to get cursed blade from Malkorok and is it worth the risk? Let’s take a look a little closer.
Malkorok HS Warrior Card
As you can see from the card is has the battlecry: Equip a random weapon.
This is an awesome battlecry (most of the time). The tempo swing a weapon can give you along with a 6/5 all for 7 mana can really swing a game in your favor.
So which weapon do you want? Gorehowl, Truesilver Champion, Doomhammer?
There are plenty of good weapons. But there is one weapon you absolutely do not want, ever. The Cursed Blade.

Cursed Blade comes from the League of Explorers adventure.
When Cursed Blade is equipped you Double all damage dealt to your hero.
This card has seen little to no play because this effect is a quick way to get yourself killed. And, played late in the game when you have 7+ mana is the worst time to play it.
