Reveals 06th August 2016 – The remainder of the cards from One Night in Karazhan have been revealed!
Arcane Anomaly
Card Text
Whenever you cast a spell, give this minion +1 Health.
Class: Neutral
A fairly underwhelmiing card. Might see some play in arena and works will with easrly spell removal, but there are better options at 1-mana most of the time.
Ironforge Portal
Card Text
Gain 4 Armor. Summon a random 4-Cost minion.
Class: Warrior
Another portal card, and another decent card. This will become staple in a lot of armor lists.
There are some decent 4-cost minions, the armour and tempo is worth the 5 mana.
Cloaked Huntress
Card Text
Your Secrets cost (0).
This looks like a really good card. The 3/4 body for 3 mana is decent, and the effect is very powerful.
Start building those secret decks around this card. You can drop 6-8 mana worth of secrets down for free.
Cat Trick
Card Text
Secret: After your opponent casts a spell, summon a 4/2 Panther with Stealth.
Class: Hunter
A new secret to play around with, and it’s a good one! Hard to play around this secret, your opponent will be using spells, so you will get getting a 4/2 panther, nice.
Runic Egg
Card Text
Deathrattle: Draw a card.
Class: Neutral
Pantry Spider
Card Text
Battlecry: Summon a 1/1 Spider.
Class: Neutral

During your turn, your hero is Immune.

Reveals 05th August 2016
Fool’s Bane
Card Text
Unlimited attacks each turn. Can’t attack heroes.
Class: Warrior
This is an interesting weapon with some text we have not seen before. You can attack as many times as you want in the same turn, just not hitting the opponents face.
This is a good anti-aggro weapon if you have the armor to take all the damage.
Moonglade Portal
Card Text
Restore 6 Health. Summon a random 6-Cost Minion.
Class: Druid
Another new card that synergizes well with the exsisting class builds. Druid wants to ramp and will often take some damage while doing so.
Playing this ahead of your opponents mana curve will potentially give you a lead on board. Unless you’re really unlucky with the 6-Cost minion.
Reveals 04th August 2016
Medivh, the Guardian
Card Text
Battlecry: Equip Atiesh (see below), Greatstaff of the Guardian.
Class: Neutral
Another legendary has been revealed and it’s a good one. This is a really interesting card and I’m already thinking about a few decks this card will work well in.
The weapon is incredbily powerful and this card is worth the 8 mana cost for sure.
Atiesh
Card Text
After you cast a spell, summon a random minion of that Cost. Lose 1 durability.
So you get three charges to summon minions equal to the cost of spells. This is pretty insane if you’re casting 7,8,9,10 mana spells.
This card will see a lot of play, better tech those Harrison Jones and Acidic Swamp Ooze cards in!
Netherspite Historian
Card Text
Battlecry: If you’re holding a Dragon, Discover a Dragon.
Class: Neutral
Another card for dragon decks. The discover mechanic is much more powerful than just drawing a card, I really like this card and despite the 1/3 stats I think it will be used in dragon decks.
Silverware Golem
Card Text
If you discard this minion, summon it.
Class: Warlock
Another Warlock card, and this time it’s been designed with discard synergy decks in mind.
There may just be enough cards after we see all the cards from One Night in Karazhan to make a fun discard Warlock deck, only time will tell.
Reveals 03rd August 2016
Zoobot
Card Text
Battlecry: Give a random friendly Beast, Dragon, and Murloc +1/+1.
Class: Neutral
Another mech card, and some obvious synergy with The Curator. The card offers great value if you can get the battlecry off on three minions, but I think you will more often buff one or two minions.
Good to see some more mech synergy through and opens up some interesting deck building possibilities. Not just in Standard Format, but in Wild Format too where you have access to lots more mechs.
Reveals 02nd August 2016
Pompous Thespian
Card Text
Taunt
Class: Neutral
Awesome card art and a fun neutral card. The obvious first thought is that this will be a solid pick in arena drafts. Not sure it will see much play in constructed as there are better 2 drops.
Taunt decks may be something that becomes a deck type in the future with buffs and this card might find a home there.
Kara Kazham
Card Text
Summon a 1/1 Candle, 2/2 Broom, and 3/3 Teapot.
Class: Warlock
Now this is an interesting spell for the Warlock class. You can summon 3 units for to gain board advantage.
5 mana for 6/6 of total stats and from one card is pretty good value. I expect to see this card being played in various Warlock decks.
Reveals 01st August 2016
Prince Malchezaar
Card Text
At the start of your turn, shuffle 5 random Legendary minions into your deck.
Class: Neutral
This card looks awesome. The 5/6 body is decent for the 5 mana so there is a good chance this minion will stick if you drop it on curve.
Meaning you get 5 random legenfaries into your deck which is almost always going to work out really well.
Protect the King
Card Text
For each enemy minion, summon a 1/1 Pawn with Taunt.
Class: Warrior
This is a card designed to work with some of the other taunt spells and minions in the Warrior card collection.
Some testing in a taunt deck needs to be done to see how effective it is but it looks decent at first glance.
Reveals 31st July 2016
Moroes
Card Text
Stealth. At the end of your turn, summon a 1/1 Steward.
Class: Neutral
This is another legendary being revealed, along with Barnes.
The stealth and 1/1’s each turn is a cool effect but it’s not going to be easy to have this minion stick in aggressive META’s. One to try and see how it goes.
Book Wyrm
Card Text
Battlecry: If you’re holding a Dragon, destroy an enemy minion with 3 Attack or less.
Class: Neutral
This is an interesting card with some great dragon synergy. It’s a dragon classification itself, and with other dragons in hand its battlecry will activate.
I’m looking forward to this one and it’s likely to see play in control dragon decks.
Reveals 30th July 2016
Imp of Malchezaar
Card Text
Whenever you discard a card, draw a card.
Class: Warlock
Another Warlock card designed to work with the discard mechanic. Drawing a card after discarding one is a useful tech, not sure how easily this will come together with this early game minion on the board. We will have to see.
Raving Grimoire
Card Text
Battlecry: Add a random Mage spell to your hand.
Class: Mage
This card doesn’t look too good at first glance. Playing a 1 mana 1/1 just to receive a random spell isn’t the best choice when you could be playing a Mana Wyrm or Arcane Missiles in Tempo Mage.
There may be some further synergy to follow that works with this card, we will have to wait and see.
Reveals 29th July 2016
Kindly Grandmother
Card Text
Deathrattle: Summon a 3/2 Big Bad Wolf.
Class: Hunter
This is from Little Red Riding Hood, the big bad wolf has eaten grandma!
This is what people have been wanting to strengthen the Hunter’s early game. It looks very promising.
A 1/1 for 2 mana isn’t worth getting excited over, but summoning a 3/2 from the deathrattle certainly is.
Big Bad Wolf
Card Text
Blank.
Class: Hunter
This is the Big Bod Wolf that spawns from the deathrattle of the Kindly Grandmother card above.
Ivory Knight
Card Text
Battlecry: Discover a spell. Restore Health to your hero equal to its Cost.
Class: Paladin
This means you get to choose from 3 Paladin spells and will heal to the value of whichever spell you choose.
Another interesting card. It’s low base stats for 4 mana but the battlecry is strong enough that this will see play in my opinion.
Barnes
Card Text
Battlecry: Summon a 1/1 copy of a random minion in your deck.
Class: Neutral
This is an interesting card at first glance. It’s a legendary so we should expect something special, but the battlecry is a bit RNG based.
A random minion from your deck could be anything from a Mana Wyrm, to a Ragnaros. It’s going to see play for sure, but expect to be disappointed sometimes.
Ethereal Peddler
Card Text
Battlecry: Reduce the Cost of cards in your hand from other classes by (2).
Class: Rogue
With Rogue’s picking up other class cards from cards like Undercity Huckster and Burgle this is a well-designed card.
I can see this card seeing play for sure. It’s not game-breaking, but in the right deck it’s going to be good value.
Firelands Portal
Card Text
Deal 5 damage. Summon a random 5-Cost minion.
Class: Mage
I love this spell. 7 mana is good value for 5 damage + a 5 cost minion.
Usually, this combination would cost 8-9 mana, and wrapped up in one card gives it some added value. I will be trying this out in tempo mage.
Enchanted Raven
Card Text
Blank.
Class: Druid
A vanilla 2/2 for 1 mana. This is a clear power-creep card and the beast class gives it some synergy with other cards.
This will be an auto-include in beast druid builds for sure. It’s a strong card, especially if you draw it on one and can capture some early tempo.
The Curator
Card Text
Taunt. Battlecry: Draw a Beast, Dragon, and Murloc from your deck.
This card is a mech classification. Its stats are low for a 7 mana card at 4/6. But drawing 3 cards is the equivalent of 4-5 mana.
You need the specific types of card still in your deck when playing this so it’s a pretty big ask to play the cards and in the right order. I can’t see this being particularly popular, but we shall see.
