Lifecoach and SuperJJ Aggro Shaman w Earth Shock

Lifecoach and SuperJJ Aggro Shaman w Earth ShockThis is the Lifecoach and SuperJJ Aggro Shaman w Earth Shock they have been using at high legend on ladder.

If you haven’t seen, on Lifecoaches Twitch channel, he and SuperJJ have been putting in a lot of hours testing and tweaking META decks to try and hit rank 1 legend.

This is a Shaman list they were playing at high legend, and it has some interesting tech cards not seen much on ladder at the moment. Most notably Earth Shock, which is awesome for killing Questing Adventurers, silencing taunts, and zapping low health aggro minions off the board.

Zorkthar Gadgetzan Aggo Shaman w Pirates 93% Win Ratio

It’s aggro Shaman as you probably know it with some extra Pirate and weapon synergy and it’s crushing in the current META.

If you skip to around half way through this VOD from Orange you can see him playing this deck.

Here are some of the stats from Zorkthar and you can see more on his Twitter here.

Tyler Top 5 Legend Aggro Shaman Sep 16

Tyler Top 5 Legend Aggro Shaman Sep 16Shaman decks are always being tweeked a little and this Tyler Top 5 Legend Aggro Shaman Sep 16 is obviously working really well right now as I saw him playing it on his stream with a pretty decent win rate.

Shaman decks seem to  be adding more and more midrange cards to deal with a lot of the control decks on ladder. This means you can beat them in the mirror with this faster deck. Lava Burst closes out most games with a Doomhammer also bouncing off face. There isn’t much heal on the current META decks, the main problem still remains Yogg!”

Fr0zen PAX One Nation of Gamers Aggro Shaman Deck

Fr0zen PAX One Nation of Gamers Aggro Shaman DeckAnyone following the Hearthstone tournament scene will know that Fr0zen won the PAX West tournament held on the 2-3 September, 2016.

This tourney was a pretty big deal and most of the best Hearthstone Pro’s were there. So, to win it was pretty damn awesome, and I thought I’d look at the decks he used.

He turned up with 5 of the strongest META decks, and although sometimes tournament decks are sometimes teched to deal with certain classes, his decks are pretty standard strong ladder decks. He used:

Malygos Druid

Dragon Warrior

Aggro Shaman

Miracle Rogue

Midrange Hunter

This is a pretty standard aggro Shaman list, we have all been terrorized by aggro Shamans for a few seasons now. It’s a great tournament deck and has some matchups that are really favorable, you will tear through Druids with a slow start, Hunters, and do well against Dragon Warriors.

*Rank 1 Legend* Xixo Aggro Shaman w Spirit Claws Deck

Xixo Aggro Shaman w Spirit ClawsThis is the Xixo Aggro Shaman w Spirit Claws Deck he tweeted out here. “1 mana 9 dmg SeemsGood”. 🙂

Also seems like another reason why every totem you roll from your hero power has you crossing your fingers that it will be a spell power totem.

A 1 damage ping weapon is still pretty decent for 1 mana and you’ll find targets in aggro decks to hit, but rolling spell power and having a 3/3 weapon for 1 mana is crazy.

HotMEOWTH Rank 1 Legend Karazhan Aggro Shaman w Maelstrom Portal

HotMEOWTH Rank 1 Legend Karazhan Aggro Shaman w Maelstrom PortalThis is the HotMEOWTH Rank 1 Legend Karazhan Aggro Shaman w Maelstrom Portal you may have heard about. People were quick to write off Maelstrom Portal, especially as an aggro tool. But as is often the case, the card looks much different after being tested.

Aggro Shaman is one of the strongest decks on ladder, there is no doubt there. But it struggles vs other aggro decks that flood the board. The addition of Maelstrom Portal and Lighting Storm makes these matchups much more even.

I still like using 1 x Earth Shock as seen in Chakki’s Aggro Shaman deck at the NA Summer Prelims. Try that out instead of the portal if you’re meeting a lot of Druid on ladder and huge taunts.

General Aggro Shaman Mulligan Strategy

The dream start in most matchups is the double Tunnel Trogg, Lightning Bolt, followed by a Totem Golem. Look for these cards, and don’t be greedy with a Flamewreathed Faceless, especially if you’re not on the coin.

With so many one-drops it’s very likely you will pull them so don’t be afraid to hard mulligan.

Chakki NA Summer Prelims Aggro Shaman Deck

Chakki NA Summer Prelims Aggro Shaman DeckThis is the Chakki NA Summer Prelims Aggro Shaman Deck he brought to the HCT matches.

The interesting tech here is the 1 x Earth Shock. This isn’t commonly seen in Aggro Shaman, but it’s a 1 mana card that allows you to keep pushing damage to face through a taunt.

There is also a lightning Storm, another tech that’s been creeping into more and more aggro Shaman decks. SMOrc’ing the face isn’t as easy as it used to be, board clears and silence is being teched in to keep the damage going face.

RDU EU Summer Prelims Aggro Shaman Deck

The EU Summer prelims will be played out over the 13th and 14th August RDU EU Summer Prelims Aggro Shaman Deck
2016. You can watch all the action on the Hearthstone Twitch Channel.

Here is the RDU EU Summer Prelims Aggro Shaman Deck he will be using to try and advance to Blizzcon. Remeber, tournament decks are not always the strongest ladder decks, but there is a lot you can learn from playing with these decks.

Aggro Shaman is one of the strongest ladder and tournament decks in the current META. It’s capable of winning vs any decks with it’s disgusting amount of burn that can ignore taunts and just go face for a finish.

Expect to see most players bring a list similar to this one. As well as some midrange Shaman.
