August. The prelims are always fun to watch, and you can see the best players across Europe battle it out with their best decks.

Thijs has already qualified for the World Championships at Blizzcon. I think this is the reason why his decks are a little more unique than most, which will make a much more interested set of games.

This is the Thijs EU Summer Prelims C’Thun Warrior Deck he is taking to the Prelims. His strategy is clear, he has control decks and intends to counter the aggro decks that most players bring to tournaments. It’s a little risky as aggro decks can burn down control decks, but if they don’t draw well early it’s usually an easy win.

This is Thijs EU Summer Prelims Concede Shaman Deck list. It’s similar to a list he has played a lot on ladder, so he knows it’s a strong deck. It’s frustrating for opponents to play against, as hence the name, often conceding is the only option. It’s really grindy, and similar to the Crusher Shaman list J4CKIECHAN plays a lot on ladder.

Here is the RDU EU Summer Prelims Zoolock Deck he will be using to try and advance to Blizzcon. Remeber, tournament decks are not always the strongest ladder decks, but there is a lot you can learn from playing with these decks.

Zoolock is a staple in tournament deck line-ups as it’s favored against a lot of decks and you can pretty much guarantee it’s going to win vs some of the other classes.

RDU EU Summer Prelims Yogg Druid Deck

Here is the RDU EU Summer Prelims Yogg Druid Deck he will be using to try and advance to Blizzcon. Remeber, tournament decks are not always the strongest ladder decks, but there is a lot you can learn from playing with these decks.

Yogg token Druid is probably the strongest overall deck right now. I expect almost everyone will bring a version very close to this one. I prefer the version with Cenarius personally, useless you are synergizing Onyxia with Wisps of the Old Gods. But this deck is obviously working well for RDU, so we will see how it does in the Prelims.

RDU EU Summer Prelims Dragon Warrior Deck

Here is the RDU EU Summer Prelims Dragon Warrior Deck he will be using to try and advance to Blizzcon. Remeber, tournament decks are not always the strongest ladder decks, but there is a lot you can learn from playing with these decks.

This Dragon Warrior deck is pretty standard to what you see on ladder. It’s one of, if not the strongest overall META deck right now and I expect almost every player to bring a version close to this.
