Runic Egg HS Card

Runic Egg Hearthstone Card One Night in KarazhanThis is the Runic Egg HS Card released as part of the card set unlocked in the adventure One Night in Karazhan.

It’s a 1-mana cost, 0/2 body card. The card reads: Deathrattle: Draw a card.

It’s hard to see where and why you would put this card into a deck. 1 mana is a cheap way to cycle a card so maybe this card will find its way into decks that need to cycle hard for a combo. But it’s not a good card and isn’t going to shake up any decks builds, that’s for sure.

Pantry Spider HS Card

Pantry Spider Hearthstone Card One Night in KarazhanThis is the Pantry Spider HS Card released in the adventure mode One Night in Karazhan. It’s a neutral card, a beast, costs 3-mana, and has a 1/3 body.

The card reads: Battlecry: Summon a 1/1 Spider.

So, it’s a beast synergy card with a total of 2/4 stats for 3 mana. Nothing special here, it might be a good pick in arena as the extra body can benefit from buffs. As far as putting it in a Beast Hunter deck, or a Beast Druid deck, there are better 3-drops to choose.

Violet Illusionist HS Card

Violet Illusionist Hearthstone Card One Night in KarazhanThis is the Violet Illusionist HS Card that’s released as part of the adventure One Night in Karazhan.

It’s a neutral card with the text: During your turn, your hero is Immune.

It’s a 3 mana card with a 4/3 body so you’re getting decent stats. It’s a shame it’s not a 3/4 so it would stick better, but there is still potential with this card.

The obvious class to use this is Warlock. You can tap for free on your turn or drop Flame Imp’s for example. Or weapon classes can hit targets without taking damage. It’s going to be interesting playing around with this card and tying out a few different builds.

Arcanosmith HS Card

TArcanosmith Hearthstone Card One Night in Karazhanhis is the Arcanosmith HS Card being released in the adventure One Night in Karazhan. It’s a neutral card, costs 4 mana and has a 3/2 body.

The card reads: Battlecry: Summon a 0/5 minion with Taunt.

Interesting card, I can’t decide if the cost with worth the effect without trying this card in a few different decks. You will need to have something teched in to work with the taunt to make the most of this effect.

Just looks like an average neutral card, will have to wait and see how it works with other cards released.

Avian Watcher HS Card

Avian Watcher Hearthstone Card One Night in KarazhanThis is the Avian Watcher HS Card released as part of the hearthstone adventure One Night in Karazhan. It’s a neutral card costing 5 mana with 3/6 stats.

The card reads: Battlecry: If you control a Secret, gain +1/+1 and Taunt.

It’s another card with secret synergy like the Mage card Medivh’s Valet. If you have a secret at the time of playing this minion it will be a 4/7 with taunt. That’s decent for 5 mana and will feature in control decks or Reno lists.

Menagerie Magician HS Card

Menagerie Magician Hearthstone Card One Night in KarazhanThis is the Menagerie Magician HS Card being released with the adventure One Night in Karazhan. It’s a 4/4 for 5 mana with the Battlecry: Give a random friendly Beast, Dragon, and Murloc +2/+2.

Another new card with beast, dragon, and Murloc synergy. Combined with The Curator and Zoobot there are three cards that synergize together. Looks like difficult to pull off combos, but very powerful if performed.

Moat Lurker HS Card

Moat Lurker Hearthstone Card One Night in KarazhanThis is the Moat Lurker HS Card. This card is part of the One Night in Karazhan adventure being released on the 11th August.

The card reads: Battlecry: Destroy a minion. Deathrattle: Resummon it.

This is an interesting effect. You can use it on your own minions to basically restore their health when they resummon. Or, you can use it on an enemy minion that you need off the board until this minion dies as a tempo gain.

It looks over-costed at first glance. 6 mana for a 3/3 is a steep cost, and the effect doesn’t seem to justify the cost. We will have to see how it works when it’s released and we can play-test it.

Arcane Giant HS Card

Arcane Giant Hearthstone Card One Night in KarazhanThis is the Arcane Giant HS Card being released as part of the new hearthstone adventure One Night in Karazhan.

The card reads: Costs (1) less for each spell you’ve cast this game.

I like this card. We have 8/8 grants that reduce in cost each hero power, each card in hand, each card in opponent’s hand, damage taken, and now for spells cast.

This is one of the more playable giants for sure. In Tempo Mage this card can end up costing 0 mana. Whether it fits in with the deck is a separate consideration, but you can certainly get good value from it.

Nightbane Templar HS Paladin Card

Nightbane Templar Hearthstone Card One Night in KarazhanThis is the Nightbane Templar HS Paladin Card being released as part of the One Night in Karazhan adventure.

The card reads: Battlecry: If you’re holding a Dragon, summon two 1/1 Whelps.

Another card for the Paladin Dragon Aggro decks. This is a decent card and if you can activate its battlecry it’s good value.

I see this card being tested and used in dragon paladin deck lists, hopefully there are some more dragon synergy cards to support it.

Silvermoon Portal HS Paladin Card

Silvermoon Portal Hearthstone Card One Night in KarazhanThis is the Silvermoon Portal HS Paladin Card to add to the Portal Cards some classes have received. This card will be released as part of the One Night in Karazhan Adventure due for release in August.

The card reads: Give a minion +2/+2. Summon a random 2-cost minion.

This card fits the Paladin archetype pretty well and offers decent value for the cost. I can see this card being used in plenty of decks, there is some luck involved in the RNG side but there isn’t too much to worry about with 2-cost minions.
