This is the Maelstrom Portal HS Shaman Card being released as part of the new adventure, One Night in Karazhan. It’s another portal card and another good card.
The card reads: Deal 1 damage to all enemy minions. Summon a random 1-Cost minion.
So the Shaman theme is to do damage to the board and summon a 1-cost minion. This isn’s as impactful as the Firelands Portal, but at a much lower cost it will have a place in some decks that want cheap AOE.
This is the Ironforge Portal HS Warrior Card that’s part of the upcoming set of cards to be released with the new Hearthstone adventure One Night in Karazhan.
It follows the theme with Firelands Portal for Mage, and Moonglade Portal for Druid, and costs 5 mana to: Gain 4 Armor. Summon a random 4-Cost minion.
All of the portal cards look really strong and I can see this being played instead of Shield Block, or in a tempo warrior/control warrior deck. There are going to be some interesting minions summoned, there are lots of 4-cost minions. It will be even stronger in Wild Format too.
In line with the Firelands Portal being added to the Mage card collection, Moonglade Portal New Druid HS Card is coming to the Druid class. The theme is the same, with 1 less mana cost, health instead of damage, and a 6-cost minion as a result.
These Portal cards are really powerful and I think will be used in most builds for the classes. 6 mana isn’t that much for a druid that has already ramped up. You need to use the healing to make full use of the card, but that’s usually going to be needed anyway.
