Looking for an aggressive Mage list? Check this Trump Aggro Mage w Medivhs Valet Deck he was playing on stream. Medich’s Valet are pretty decent, and with an Ice Block up you can be almost certain their battlecry will active. Or you’re probably dead.
Try and keep a mental note of what burn you have left in your deck. You need to start going face sooner rather than later when the odds are in your favor to draw the burn you need.
This is the Karazhan Aggro Dragon Priest Deck Sep 16 that I’ve been having the most success with playing Priest.
I like the lower curve and more aggressive build, the lists with Ysera, Deathwing, and all the other late-game cards are too slow for this Shaman META in my opinion.
Curving out with Wyrmrest Agent, Blackwing Technician, Twilight Drake, into Blackwing Corruptor while having the cheap removal spells is one of the strongest curves in the game.
Dragon decks are pretty strong now with Book Wyrm and Netherspite Historian from One Night in Karazhan. Priest is in a much better place, and this deck is pretty solid. Give it a go and see how you get on.
Tired of losing because your Yogg decides to Pyroblast your face? Losing with Mage because a 10 drop is too heavy and you need something big before then? Just don’t have Yogg in your collection?
This Kolento Tempo Mage with No Yogg deck is the answer. He was playing this on stream at high legend, any deck Kolento builds is capable of hanging at the top end of the ladder.
It’s a throw back a little bit to the older lists. There are two Water Elementals, and Ragnaros the Firelord as the highest cost minion. So pure tempo plays all the way up the curve till you hit Raggy.
This is the Thijs High Legend Murloc Paladin Deck he was playing on stream at high legend ranks. Murloc Paladin has always been a strong deck, and I think Ivory Knight has taken it very close to being tier one. It really only struggles against aggressive decks when you don’t draw well.
This deck has some of the best board clears, loads of healing, card draw, and insane OTK burst potential. It’s a good deck to learn how to play, bringing this to tournaments you can catch your opponents off guard and it’s easily capable of winning vs a lot of tier one decks.
There has been a rise in high legend Priest decks since the class received new cards from the Karazhan adventure. This is the Sjow Karazhan Concede Priest Deck as he called it, he was ranking up really fast and hitting win streaks on his way to legend.
It’s a fairly typical high-value resurrect Priest deck. He has added some big taunts and tech cards like Baron Geddon to deal with aggro, and Ragnaros. This type of Priest isn’t too hard to play, it’s a good one to start with if you’re new to Priest.
What do you do when the new Arcane Giants aren’t enough? Add Frost Giants, but what if these 4 giants aren’t enough? Add Blood Warriors and make copies of the giants to have more. That was Reynad’s thinking behind building this deck.
This takes Control Warrior and adds a lot more threats and Yogg-Saron for a last-ditch attempt at winning when all else seems lost.
Control Mage is back with the new Karazhan cards. This is an interesting list, it’s the Neviilz Karazhan Control Mage Deck September 16 he was playing on stream. The list includes Medivh’s Valet, Avian Watcher, Babbling Book, and The Curator from the new adventure.
Like most Neviilz decks there are a lot of tech cards and synergy between different cards in the deck. The double Ice Block means you’re often playing on the edge of dying, then using Alexstraza to gain health and let your opponent over extend so you can board clear.
Sjow hit rank 1 legend with a Dragon Warrior deck using The Curator a week or so ago. With more cards released from One Night in Karazhan he was playing a new list on stream today and it looks even stronger than the old list.
Boom Wyrm is a must inclusion in dragon decks now. It removes any minions with 3 or less attack as a battlecry, and Netherspite Historian lets you choose a dragon through discover to fill out your curve or give you a threat specific to you opponent.
Dragon Warrior isn’t going anywhere for a while, it’s a good idea to learn how to play it. Give this list a go and see how you get on, if you can’t ladder up quickly with this deck drop me a message and I’ll help out!
Freeze Mage is still a strong deck post-Karazhan, and this Thijs Karazhan Freeze Mage September Season 30 he was playing at high-legned on stream is proof at that.
Freeze Mage is one of the strongest torunament decks and I always recommend people learn how to play Freeze Mage as it comes in really handy to understand the deck if as an opponent. It’s hard to play however, you need to learn all the numbers behind combos of burn and how many turns you need to kill an opponent.
Practicse this list on casual untill you get the hang of it. It’s strong on ladder, especially with less Control Warriors in the current META than previosuly.
I’ve been looking for a top legend performing Dragon Paladin list since all the new Dragon cards were released with the adventure One Night in Karazhan and found this Sjow High Legend Karazhan Dragon Paladin Deck he was playing on ladder at top 5 legend.
Book Wyrm is turning out to be a really good card. Removing minions with 3 or less attack as a battle cry is possible almost every game. Removing your opponents minions with a battlecry is one of the strongest tempo swings in Hearthstone so Book Wyrm’s have fast become a must include in Dragon builds.
Nightbane Templar is really good too as most discover minions are. You can pick a card to fill out your curve or counter your specific opponent.
