This is the Fool’s Bane HS New Warrior Card coming as part of the new adventure One Night in Karazhan. The adventure is released on the 11th August, not sure which wing this card will be released with but there are 4 wings.
It’s a Warrior weapon and has a mechanic we have not seen before. The card reads: Unlimited attacks each turn. Can’t attack heroes.
With an attack of 3 and durability of 4 this is 12 damage for 5 mana which is pretty decent. Buffing this will be good too, but you will have to keep an eye on how much damage you’re taking. Maybe it will help vs aggo like Zoolock and Aggro Shaman.
In line with the Firelands Portal being added to the Mage card collection, Moonglade Portal New Druid HS Card is coming to the Druid class. The theme is the same, with 1 less mana cost, health instead of damage, and a 6-cost minion as a result.
These Portal cards are really powerful and I think will be used in most builds for the classes. 6 mana isn’t that much for a druid that has already ramped up. You need to use the healing to make full use of the card, but that’s usually going to be needed anyway.
This is Netherspite Historian hs New Card to be released with the adventure coming on 11th August called One Night in Karazhan.
The card reads: Battlecry: If you’re holding a Dragon, Discover a Dragon.
The card is pretty weak at 1/3 for 2 mana, but the battle cry makes up for it. This is going to see play in a control dragon deck. There are plenty of powerful dragons that can make an impact on the game, and being able to discover a dragon that will help in the current game is a big deal.
This is the Silverware Golem hs New Warlock Card to be released with the new adventure One Night in Karazhan.
The card text reads: If you discard this minion, summon it. Good to see some more discard synergy and it looks like Blizzard developers have a deck in mind that uses discard mechanics.
The 3/3 body for 3 mana is base vanilla. But if you are re-summoning this card it’s good value after just one summon. Going to be interesting to see how and where this card fits in after the entire collection from One Night in Karazhan has been released.
This is the Atiesh hs New Card that is equipped from the battlecry activated by playing Medivh, the Guardian.
This weapon is probably the most powerful weapon in the game when used correctly. The 8 mana cost of playing Medivh is expensive, so it’s a late game card most likely to be played in control, spell heavy decks like Priest and Paladin.
Being Medivh and a spell-based activation it’s easy to assume it will go into a Tempo Mage deck but it’s probably too slow for Tempo Mage and you won’t make good use of the effect.
This is the Medivh, the Guardian HS New Card that we’ve been given a look at before its release in the upcoming Hearthstone adventure One Night in Karazhan.
This is another Legendary from the new set and has a pretty cool effect. The battlecry reads: Equip Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian.
This is a card for those slower control decks as it’s late game value. The effect is really powerful however and I can see this card being played.
This is the weapon that is equipped as the battlecry from Medivh, the Guardian.
You won’t be swinging it to attack with though. The card reads: After you cast a spell, summon a random minion of that Cost. Lose 1 Durability.
This is a really powerful effect. Seeing as the card is an 8-drop you can play a 9 mana spell the next turn and summon a 9 mana minion. That’s pretty insane.
This is the New Card Zoobot that will be released with the new Hearthstone adventure One Night in Karazhan due for release on the 11th August.
The card text reads: Battlecry: Give a random friendly Beast, Dragon, and Murloc +1/+1. It’s also a Mech card which gives it some great synergy in the Wild format with all the old mech cards.
There is an obvious connection with the other card we’ve seen called The Curator, which draws a beast, dragon, and murloc from your deck and is also a mech. I reckon there will be more cards to follow that synergize with these mechs and there are already some fun decks these can be included in.
This is the New Card Pompous Thespian gives to us as an early reveal from the upcoming Hearthstone adventure One Night in Karazhan. Looks like a great arena card, not sure about constructed play.
Decks with taunt synergy may be a thing after the release of the new adventure. Warrior has a few cards that make this archetype look realistic, especially with the new card Protect the King, and Bolster which we already have.
This is a neutral card so expect it to be an auto include in arena decks as having a taunt is useful in the early game, and there aren’t that many better neutral 3/2’s. Cool card art too with the Annoy-o-Tron head being held by the stage actor, very Shakespearian.
This is an early reveal of the New Card Kara Kazham. This spell is a Warlock class card and the text reads:
Summon a 1/1 Candle, 2/2 Broom, and 3/3 Teapot.
This is a spell that spawns 3 units, perfect in token based decks like Zoo. It’s also going to be a cool card to have turn up when you cast cross-class spells or receive cards from other classes.
Blizzard continue to work with the deck and class archetypes that are already successful which is great for strengthening decks and adding some more flexibility to deck building.
I can see that card seeing play in most Warlock builds as it delivers on value. Going to be an interesting one to play with.
This is the New Card Protect the King revealed early from the upcoming Hearthstone adventure One Night in Karazhan being released on 11th August.
The card text reads: For each enemy minion, summon a 1/1 Pawn with Taunt.
This is another card coming out of the chess game battle in the new adventure. There is some obobviou synergy with some of the Warrior taunt spells here so this will be an interesting card to try and slot into some new deck builds.
3 mana seems reasonable. If you’re under pressure on the board this card can be a comback mechanic in a control type of deck.
