There are two class challenges as part of The Spire. Druid, and Rogue.

The Rogue Challenge puts you in with the boss – Shade of Aran.

Time to work on those burgle decks. 2 mana can be game changing on the right cards, it’s still RNG heavy what cards you will get but I think this is a decent card that will see play in the right decks.

The card reads: At the start of your turn, shuffle 5 random Legendary minions into your deck.

This card has a lot of people split on how good – or bad it is. It’s going to take some extensive testing to find out, it’s just too hard to predict.

Will the extra cards help, if you get bad legendaries will it be a problem? The body is fairly good, and it’s a demon, so there is a home for this card I’m sure.

Hearthstone Card Medivh, the Guardian

The card reads: Battlecry: Equip Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian.

This is one of the most anticipated cards and it finally lands in the last week. It’s a slow neutral card, so I expect to see it turning up in control decks.

It’s the first time a neutral weapon has been released so it’s going to shake things up.

The weapon text reads: After you cast a spell, summon a random minion of that Cost. Lose 1 Durability.

The synergy here is obvious, cast high mana spells and summon high mana minions. 🙂

How to Get HS Card Ironforge Portal

If you’re wondering how to get HS card Ironforge Portal – you have to complete the third boss called Free Medivh in the fourth wing of the One Night in Karazhan adventure called The Spire.

This boss battle is actually two bosses. The first boss is called Nazra Wildaxe, she pretty much juts goes face with weapons and her hero power summons 3/2 orcs. Kill her as soon as possible, but beware – the board will be cleared with a Twisting Nether after so don’t spam the board with minions.

The second boss is called Prince Malchezaar. You are given the Medivh, the Guardian’s weapon Atiesh so save your highest mana spells. You will need to summon large minions from the spells to beat him.

The card reads: Gain 4 Armor. Summon a random 4-Cost Minion.

Another in the series of Portal cards, this time for Warrior. I think this will see play, it’s a better option than Shield Block in some Warrior decks.

How to Get HS Card Netherspite Historian

If you’re wondering how to get HS card Netherspite Historian – you have to complete the second boss called Netherspite in the fourth wing of the One Night in Karazhan adventure called The Spire.

This is a fun boss battle. There are two portals on the board, a blue and a pink. Any minions you place on the right-hand side next to the blue portal will only take one damage per turn. While minions placed on the left next to the pink portal will have windfury.

So jam your big minions on the left to do double the damage, and put your buff minions on the right. You can complete this Boss with just about any budget deck I’m sure.

The card reads: Battlecry: If you’re holding a Dragon, Discover a Dragon.

Some more tools for the dragon decks, I think the ladder is going to be flooded with Dragon decks for a while, mostly Warrior, Paladin and Priest.

It’s a decent card, will be interesting to see if it’s strong enough to feature in decks long-term.

How to Get HS Card Book Wyrm

If you’re wondering how to get HS card Book Wyrm – you have to complete the second boss called Netherspite in the fourth wing of the One Night in Karazhan adventure called The Spire.

So jam your big minions on the left to do double the damage, and put your buff minions on the right. You can complete this Boss with just about any budget deck I’m sure.

The card reads: Battlecry: If you’re holding a Dragon, destroy an enemy minion with 3 Attack of less.

Costly at 6 mana but the potential tempo swing justifies the cost I think. Going to need to test this card a bit, most likely in Priest as an extra anti-aggro tool.

If you’re wondering how to get HS card Spirit Claws – you have to complete the first boss called Shade of Aran in the fourth wing of the One Night in Karazhan adventure called The Spire.

The bosses in the Karazhan adventure have been super-easy, and the Shade of Aran is no different. His hero power gives both players + 2 spell damage, so you can use a deck with spells to take advantage of this.

I just queued up my Zoolock and breezed right through him.

The card reads: Has +2 Attack while you have Spell Damage.

This is another interesting card from the new set that I think will see a lot of play.

You always have a chance of rolling a spell totem, or you can play spell damage minions then you have a 3/3 weapon for 1 mana!

This card reads: Battlecry: If you control a Secret, deal 3 damage.

This is a really good card that has a lot of value in decks with secrets. Mage’s don’t run as many secrets since Mad Scientist cycled out of rotation, but this card can change things.
