This is the New Card Moroes to be released with the Hearthstone adventure – One Night in Karazhan on the 11th August.
It’s a reveal of another legendary from the new set to join Barnes. The card text reads: Stealth. At the end of your turn, summon a 1/1 Steward.
This card is very situational. Obviously, it’s good in token decks like Zoolock, but the ability for a lot of decks to clear a stealth unit and 1/1’s means it’s not going to stick in all META’s.
It’s weak to Arcane Missiles, Ravaging Ghoul, most AOE spells, etc. Still, it’s a cool card and will be interesting to see where it fits in and what decks run it.
This is the New Card Book Wyrm coming with the release of the Hearthstone adventure One Night in Karazhan on the 11th August.
It’s a neutral card with the text: Battlecry: If you’re holding a Dragon, destroy an enemy minion with 3 Attack or less.
This will almost certainly find its way into some dragon decks, I’m not sure about Dragon Warrior as it’s not an aggressive-tempo card. It will be more use in control decks like Dragon Priest and builds like this.
Interesting card though, and good to see more dragon synergy to play around with.
This is the New Warlock Card Imp of Malchezaar. As you can see it was a Chinese reveal and I’ve picked up the card and translated it so it may change a little.
This is an obvious inclusion in an aggressive Zoolock deck with card discard minions and spells such as Doomguards and Soulfire.
The card text reads: Whenever you discard a card, draw a card. Basically, this card cycles cards for you so you don’t end up with an empty hand bu discarding quicker than you can draw.
I can see this card seeing play in some aggressive decks with lots of discard mechanics. There may be more cards to follow that synergise too, so this is definitely an interesting card.
This is the New Mage Card Raving Grimoire. It’s not super-powerful at first glance but you can never write any cards off before trying them and seeing what new synergies there are.
Being a 1 mana 1/1 you would have to assume it’s best played in an aggressive build like Tempo Mage. However, once again you are leaving your fate up to RNG and it depends on what spell you get to how good you feel about including this card in your deck.
It’s a downgrade for situations where a random 1-drop can appear. A 1/1 is among the lowest base stats so it’s going to be a disappointment from that perspective.
This is the New Card The Curator revealed as part of the sneak-peak of the upcoming adventure One Night in Karazhan. It’s another legendary, the other revealed legendary being Barnes.
It has a powerful flavour text reading: Taunt. Battlecry: Draw a Beast, Dragon, and Murloc from your Deck.
The card draw is pretty powerful and value wise makes up for the low stats of 4/6 for a 7 mana card. But it’s all very situational and you need to build a specific deck around this card and draw your cards in a favorable order.
This is a card that needs some testing before we can make a real decision on how strong it is exactly. So I’m interested to see this card come out and what decks people can build around it.
This is the New Druid Card Enchanted Raven from the upcoming adventure One Night in Karazhan. It’s a 1 mana 2/2 with no flavour text, but shows a power-creep and represents a strong card.
They have designed it as a beast card to help build those beast Druid decks too. Some players have had success with beast Druid but the decks are missing a strong 1 drop for sure. This fills that gap, and with the synergy of the other beast cards you can gain some early momentum.
I like this card and can see it being used. It’s not going to be much use when drawn late, but as part of a good curve it’s awesome.
This is the New Mage Card Firelands Portal to be released with the new adventure One Night in Karazhan. I really like this card and it will no doubt see plenty of play due to the value it offers, but there is a huge RNG swing – which we are all used to in Hearthstone.
Blizzard have said that the Portal theme of cards will go across other classes so it’s interesting to see what else is going to follow.
Even though it’s a slow card I can see this being used in Tempo Mage. Being able to remove a minion and develop a 5-cost minion on the board for 7 mana is a potential tempo swing. I’m looking forward to seeing this card being played.
This is a look at the New Rogue Card Ethereal Peddler coming as part of the new adventure One Night in Karazhan.
The Battlecry reads: Reduce the Cost of cards in your hand from other classes by (2). This is a new flavour text we have not seen before and it opens up some interesting synergies and deck possibilities.
Rogue has a number of ways to get their hands on cards from other classes, so reducing the cost by two is a huge mana gain. This is a decent statted card too, 5/6 for 5 mana is above the vanilla line.
I see this being played in some deck-types for sure.
This is the New Card Barnes that will be released with the new adventure One Night in Karazhan. It’s a legendary, so as you’d hope it has a pretty cool effect.
It’s a neutral card so you can include it in any class deck. The Battlecry reads: Summon a 1/1 copy of a random minion in your deck.
Thinking of the best possibilities here, you could have an extra Ragnaros, Archmage Antonidas, Tirion Fordring, etc.
Thinking of the worst possibilities you could summon a minion that doesn’t do anything, like a Totem Golem, King’s Elekk, Faceless Summoner, any card that doesn’t do anything other than have a 1/1 body basically.
This is a great card though. The stats aren’t bad for 4 mana, and the chance of an upside is huge. I see this being played in a lot of decks.
This is the New Paladin Card Ivory Knight to be released as part of the new adventure One Night in Karazhan. It’s part of a chess board battle that takes place in the adventure.
This is another card that gives healing to the Paladin class. Combined with discovering a class spell makes this a great value card if you discover what you need in your current game.
Looks like a nice balanced card on the face of it. Will have to see how this one plays out once you can try it in different decks and see how effective it is.
