RDU Pirate Rogue Deck Winter Prelims 2017

RDU Heroic Tavern Brawl Dragon Priest Deck

If you want what the pros are playing in this weeks brawl this is the RDU Heroic Tavern Brawl Dragon Priest Deck List.

He was 8-0 at the time of writing this so a solid deck and a great counter to all the Shaman being played.

RDU Karazhan Grim Patron w Arcane Giant Deck

This is the RDU Karazhan Grim Patron w Arcane Giant deck he’s been playing on stream. The first time I saw Patron with Arcane Giants was Senfglas just after the release of these new cards. It turns out this is a really strong deck, who would have thought it huh – 0 mana cost 8/8 Giants!

General Grim Patron Mulligan Strategy

Mulligan for the Fiery War Axe (which shouldn’t be a problem, ha), Blood to Ichor, and whatever card draw pieces you can find. You will need to cycle hard early on to start putting together the cards you need to pull of a Patron turn.

RDU Malygos Druid w Barnes Arcane Giant

This is the RDU Malygos Druid w Barnes Arcane Giant he was playing on stream. It’s interesting to see all the Pro players testing Malygos Druid just off the back of Barnes being released.

Druid has always been one of the classes that Malygos works well in due to it’s low cost, high damage spells, and of course the chance to cheat mana and innervate.

The hope with Barnes here is that you get a 1/1 copy of Malygos, Ragnaros, Gadgetzan, Fandral, or Emperor. Any of these are you’re going to get some insane value from your cards. Barnes is better off played later in the game when you have more mana to use as soon as you drop it therefor.

RDU EU Summer Prelims Zoolock Deck

The EU Summer prelims will be played out over the 13th and 14th August

Here is the RDU EU Summer Prelims Zoolock Deck he will be using to try and advance to Blizzcon. Remeber, tournament decks are not always the strongest ladder decks, but there is a lot you can learn from playing with these decks.

Zoolock is a staple in tournament deck line-ups as it’s favored against a lot of decks and you can pretty much guarantee it’s going to win vs some of the other classes.

Here is the RDU EU Summer Prelims Yogg Druid Deck he will be using to try and advance to Blizzcon. Remeber, tournament decks are not always the strongest ladder decks, but there is a lot you can learn from playing with these decks.

Yogg token Druid is probably the strongest overall deck right now. I expect almost everyone will bring a version very close to this one. I prefer the version with Cenarius personally, useless you are synergizing Onyxia with Wisps of the Old Gods. But this deck is obviously working well for RDU, so we will see how it does in the Prelims.

Aggro Shaman is one of the strongest ladder and tournament decks in the current META. It’s capable of winning vs any decks with it’s disgusting amount of burn that can ignore taunts and just go face for a finish.

Expect to see most players bring a list similar to this one. As well as some midrange Shaman.
