Pro Tips to Own the META and make Legend
This is the Xixo Totemic Might Shaman Deck Sep he was playing on stream. The games I saw he didn’t even lose a match with this list. There is only one Wicked Witchdoctor, with the list leaning on its burst damage to be the main win condition.
It’s more like a midrange list with 1 x Totemic Might and 1 x Wicked Witchdoctor. It was very effective at high legend, so give it a go and see how you get on.
Hunter is finding a place in the current META as a strong tier-2 deck, and capable of hanging with the tier-1 decks when drawing well.
This is the Fr0zen Midrange Hunter Deck Season 30 Sept he was playing on stream. Fr0zen is one of my favorite streamers, he doesn’t have a huge following but is winning a lot of tournaments and finishing high on ladder so I think that’s going to change.
He always makes a few tweaks over the common lists and strengthns up the deck for the META. This list has 2 Argent Horseriders to add a little extra speed, making it favourable in the mirror match against the slower midrange lists.
Looking for an aggressive Mage list? Check this Trump Aggro Mage w Medivhs Valet Deck he was playing on stream. Medich’s Valet are pretty decent, and with an Ice Block up you can be almost certain their battlecry will active. Or you’re probably dead.
Try and keep a mental note of what burn you have left in your deck. You need to start going face sooner rather than later when the odds are in your favor to draw the burn you need.
This is the latest Fibonacci N’Zoth Control Warrior Season 30 Sept. Control Warrior is in a strong position right now with all the midrange Shamans and aggro lists that can’t keep up with Tank Up.
Fibonacci has included Alexstraza in this list as an extra win condition. If you drop your opponent to 15 health you have a lot of ways to do that damage, especially after dropping N’Zoth.

It’s not the easiest deck to play, there are some tactics depending on your opponent but give it a try and you’ll see what I mean.
This is the decklist Sjow played to rank 1 legend on the NA server this week. It’s a slightly different discardlock to the Xixo build that hit rank one earlier in the month.
Just play as you would with a Zoolock list but take a little extra care to use the discard synergy. It’s a really easy deck to play and you will climb the ladder quickly in the current META.
This is the apDrop Alt F4 Concede Shaman Deck that has been stirring up some interest in the community. It’s quite a bit different to the Bogchamp Shaman decks that popularized the control Shaman build.
Why is it called Alt F4 Shaman?
Alt + F4. Keyboard command to exit out whatever it is you are in.
This deck is so frustrating for players that it will cause them to concede basically. Obviously, it’s not quite that epic. But it’s a frustrating deck.
This deck doesn’t rely on huge taunts like other concede Shaman decks. Instead, it has Harrison Jones to steal weapon, Justicar to allow you to select which totem you want, and board clears + Healing to outvalue your opponents.
It’s more of a value, fatigue deck type control deck. It’s fun to play, does rely on some timely card draw, and you always have Yogg-Saron if things start going bad, right?
This is the Dog Tempo Mage w Rhonin Barnes Sept 16 he was playing on stream. It’s interesting to see a different Tempo Mage list doing well and there is some decent synergy in this deck. Obviously, the dream is to get a 1/1 Rhonin from Barnes, butt here are some other strong combos.
You’re almost going to get some Fireballs from Archmage Antonidas. There is less burn in the core cards than most Mage lists and more card draw to help you get to a big combo turn quicker. I like using Rhonin, the fireworks that go off with Flamewaker and Missiles is too much fun!
Give it a go and see how you do, it was performing well at high legend for Dog.
Remember the old fatigue Warrior with Healbot pre-standard format? Well, this Neviilz Control Fatigue Warrior w Violet Illusionist Fools Bane is the closest thing to a fatigue Warrior in the Karazhan META.
There are three cards from the latest Karazhan expansion:
Fool’s Bane – This is used to clear up several small minions against aggro decks. Great value card and can give potential swing turns.
Violet Illusionist – Health is important in fatigue matchups. This card allows you to use weapons without taking damage. Used in combination with Fool’s Bane or Gorehowl it’s a good value card.
Ironforge Portal – Another good inclusion in a fatigue match. More armor and a random minion to challenge the board.
Shaman decks are always being tweeked a little and this Tyler Top 5 Legend Aggro Shaman Sep 16 is obviously working really well right now as I saw him playing it on his stream with a pretty decent win rate.
Shaman decks seem to be adding more and more midrange cards to deal with a lot of the control decks on ladder. This means you can beat them in the mirror with this faster deck. Lava Burst closes out most games with a Doomhammer also bouncing off face. There isn’t much heal on the current META decks, the main problem still remains Yogg!”
Here is the Senfglas High Legend Control Priest Deck Season 30. Now the dust has settled after Karazhan I think we can all admit that Priest did pretty well. Priest of the Feast and Onyx Bishop are staple in most Priest decks now and really carry this list.
Senfglas played this list to high legend, it’s strong against other control decks and with a good start can hold out vs aggro. Shamans are hard to beat due to their constant flow of high value cards, but that’s the same for most classes. Other than that it’s a good Priest deck to ladder with.
